Paige's Indian Epics

So far I am mostly pleased with my work in this class. I have an A that is something I am proud of and excited about. I have tried hard to keep up with this class and to stay on top of the work. For the most part I stick to the same routine each week and try to make sure that I get each assignment done on time. In terms of developing my blog and site, I am happy with the way they are coming together. Coming from someone who is not techy or that has any past experience with creating websites or blogs. In the future I really want to try and be proactive, instead of waiting for the deadline I want to get things done ahead of time. I think this will work in my favor to work ahead and it will provide me with more possibilities to do the work on my schedule. Overall, I would say that the feedback I have received has been extremely helpful. My favorite comments that I receive are the ones that tell me a positive about my story and then also give a suggestion on how to fix something that they did not like. I would say the feedback I have been giving has been helpful, I try and give a couple of positives about their writing but also give a suggestion on what I think will help improve it. While looking at other people's writings and stories I have found some good strategies and good ideas on what to incorporate in my stories. I am happy with my introduction post, I think it gives people a good idea of what I am like and who I am as a person. I really enjoy reading other people's blogs and getting to know other people in my class even though it is an online class. For the reading and writing assignments in this class I am for the most part satisfied. I have learned a lot about the epics in India and how important they are to their culture. I have struggles with writing stories and coming up with ideas that either represent with Ramayana or the Mahabharata. As far as my blog and site, I am satisfied with the layout and the design of them. They both are easy for people to navigate and have nice colors and represent what they are talking about. I think my biggest accomplishment in this class would be my ability to make my own website and design it the way i like it, I have never done anything like that before. My favorite reading so far has been the Ramayana, I had never heard the story before and it was super interesting. My reading notes help me write my stories each week, so I really enjoy doing those.
